Walk instead of Drive

Ok, so today I had to teach and to get to the pony club I always drive even though it is only a couple of kms away. Today I decided to walk there and back. 420 calories burnt and 1 hour walked! Go me. I was very proud, as I was offered a lift back home and I said no thank you!!!!

1000 steps

Ok, Another milestone done today! I went to the 1000's steps and walked up the steep hill and then down the steps! Was a great workout. In 1 hour and 37 mins I burnt 850 calories. I went with my partner and a great friend. They were fantastic and let me stop along the way which I needed and then they motivated me to keep going. I have been sick (coughing and runny nose) so it was fantastic to get out there on a beautiful day like today!!!

Round 3 signed up

Ok I have done it I have just signed up for my second round!
Bring on round 3!
Last round I was doing it half arsed! This time its for real I need to pull my finger out and JFDI!

Round 2 finish and Round 3 Pre-Season Starts

Hi All,

Well this is my first ever blog, here goes.
I have just finished round 2, 2011 (which was my very first round) I did very well at the start and then the last 4 weeks have been a bit of a nightmare and have put on some weight.
But I will be re-joining for round 3, I need to get my head in the right space of mind and do the pre-season tasks. I will try and get my whole family involved as we all need to loose weight.

Here are my states:
Start weight Dec 2010 (before the start of round 2): 94.4kgs
Start weight of Round 2: 89kgs
Weight end of Round 2: 81.7kgs
So far total weight loss is: 12.7kgs

I have been depressed and stressed over the past 3-4 weeks and have not exercised besides playing netball and not eating right (eating too much, way to much and to much of the junk food).
I will not let these bad weeks get me down any longer. Monday is a new day!
